Lao ministry warns pig farmers over outbreak of blue ear disease

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has issued a notice warning farmers about the outbreak of ‘porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome’ (PRRS) in several northern provinces.

The ministry also asked provincial authorities to take steps to prevent and control the disease to stop it spreading to other areas.
